PIR Insulation

PIR Insulation (Polyisocyanurate Insulation)

PIR (Polyisocyanurate) insulation is a high-performance rigid foam insulation material widely used in modern construction for superior thermal efficiency and fire resistance. It is manufactured by reacting polyols and isocyanates to form a closed-cell rigid foam core, typically faced with aluminum foil or fiberglass tissue for enhanced durability and moisture resistance.

PIR insulation offers excellent thermal conductivity (low lambda value), allowing thinner panels to achieve higher insulation performance compared to traditional materials. It is lightweight, easy to install, and ideal for roofs, walls, floors, cold storage facilities, HVAC systems, and industrial applications.

Key Benefits:
  • High thermal performance
  • Excellent fire resistance compared to PUR
  • Moisture and vapor resistant
  • Lightweight and easy to handle
  • Long service life
  • Energy-efficient and cost-effective

PIR insulation is the preferred solution for projects requiring maximum energy efficiency, reduced carbon footprint, and long-term durability.

Geotextile

Geotextile

Our Geotextile Pond Liner Underlay is engineered to outperform standard fleece materials commonly available in the market. Manufactured from premium non-woven, mechanically bonded, needle-punched polypropylene geotextiles sourced from leading European producers, it delivers superior durability and long-term reliability.

Designed to act as a high-performance protective barrier, the underlay effectively separates the pond liner from the subgrade, reducing the risk of damage from sharp stones, roots, and other potential hazards. In addition, it helps minimise localised stretching and stress on the liner caused by natural ground settlement over time.

For optimal protection and longevity, we strongly recommend installing our Heavy-Duty Underlay beneath all pond liners. This ensures enhanced puncture resistance, improved load distribution, and maximum safeguarding of your liner investment.

Fiberglass Mesh

Fiberglass Mesh

Fiberglass mesh is essentially the "skeleton" of modern construction and DIY repairs. It is made by weaving glass fiber yarns into a grid pattern and coating them with a protective resin (usually alkali-resistant) to prevent the material from breaking down when embedded in cement or plaster. Think of it as the reinforcement that keeps surfaces from cracking when things shift or settle.

Common Types & Uses

Fiberglass mesh isn't a one-size-fits-all product. Its application depends on the "weight" and the "grid size."

  • Drywall Joint Tape: Self-adhesive, narrow rolls used to bridge the gaps between drywall sheets to prevent cracks in the finished wall.
  • EIFS & Stucco Reinforcement: Used on the exterior of buildings, embedded into the base coat to provide impact resistance and structural integrity to the facade.
  • Tile Backer & Flooring: Often used as an underlayment for tiles or in self-leveling floor compounds to manage tension and prevent grout lines from cracking.
  • Waterproofing: Frequently used on roofs or in bathrooms along with liquid membranes to create a durable, watertight barrier.
Polypropylene Sheet

Polypropylene Sheet

A Polypropylene Sheet (PP Sheet) is a durable, lightweight thermoplastic sheet manufactured from polypropylene polymer. It is widely used across industrial, commercial, and fabrication applications due to its excellent balance of strength, flexibility, and chemical resistance.

Key Characteristics:
  • High impact resistance and toughness
  • Excellent resistance to chemicals, acids, and alkalis
  • Moisture and corrosion resistant
  • Good thermal stability
  • Easy to fabricate, weld, and machine
  • Lightweight and recyclable
Common Applications:
  • Chemical tanks and processing equipment
  • Industrial linings and cladding
  • Packaging and storage solutions
  • Automotive components
  • Signage and fabrication projects
  • Food processing and hygienic environments

Polypropylene sheets are valued for their cost-effectiveness, long service life, and versatility in demanding environments.
